Pitchbox review

This review is based on Pitchbox’s public pages and third-party ratings, checked on 3 October 2026. The rating out of 10 is the editor’s own judgement.

How it works

Pitchbox is an outreach platform built for link building and digital PR. It covers the whole process in one tool: finding prospects, finding and verifying email addresses, sending sequences, managing replies and reporting.

Its pricing page lists campaign types that match the common tactics: blogger outreach, digital PR, listicles, resource pages, guest posting, broken backlinks, SaaS link building and link reclamation. The CRM side includes a shared inbox, pipeline management, tasks and reminders, and a follow-up manager it calls Chasebox.

Prospecting and outreach

For prospecting, every plan includes a search tool with advanced operators, a keyword suggestion tool, an email finder and verifier, an SEO metrics filter, blocklists and automatic removal of duplicates. Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz and Majestic integrations are listed on all plans, so you can filter prospects by the metric you trust. A metric filter is a first pass, not a full check. For sending, all plans include templates, email sequencing, scheduling, conditional logic and one-click unsubscribe. Advanced and Scale add recurring campaigns, email rotation, bulk AI personalisation and deliverability monitoring, along with role-based workflows and audit logs for larger teams.

AI features

Pitchbox lists four AI features on every plan: AI Personalization, an AI Reply Agent, an AI Campaign Assistant and an AI Template Assistant. Bulk AI personalisation starts at Advanced. We have not assessed the quality of the output.

Link monitoring

Each plan monitors a set number of links: 1,000 on Pro, 5,000 on Advanced and 10,000 on Scale. Google index checks, which confirm that a page carrying your link is indexed, are listed on Advanced and Scale, not on Pro. Our guide on how to track backlinks explains why indexing matters.

Prices and limits are as shown on Pitchbox’s pricing page on 3 October 2026. All three plans require a one-year commitment, whichever way you pay. Enterprise pricing is on request. Expert-led implementation is listed at $2,000, $3,000 or $4,000 by plan, and is included when you pay yearly. API access starts at Advanced.

The nearest alternative, BuzzStream, starts at $49 a month with no contract. Pitchbox costs at least four times as much at entry, and the difference buys automation, integrations and room for a team.

What public reviews say

There is little independent evidence to cite. Pitchbox’s Trustpilot profile shows 3.6 from a single review, checked in October 2026, which is too few to mean anything. We could not read its G2 profile on the day we checked. Ask for a demo and references from teams of your size before you commit to a year.
