About Offpage Atlas
An independent reference for link building and off-page SEO, written by practitioners who work in competitive markets.
Who writes it
Offpage Atlas is produced by three editorial desks: one for guides, one for industry playbooks and one for vendor reviews. The editorial team page explains what each desk covers and the rules it works to.
Why this site exists
Most writing on link building comes from companies that sell links or sell tools. The honest detail, such as what a link really costs, which methods get sites penalised and how high-risk markets operate, sits in forums and private chats. This site puts it in one place, with sources and dates.
What you will find
- A curriculum from first principles to advanced strategy.
- Every tactic with its typical cost and a risk rating.
- Industry playbooks for the markets where links matter most.
- Vendor reviews that state what each rating is based on.
- A glossary of off-page SEO terms.
Editorial standards
- Every figure names its source and its date.
- Where the evidence is weak, or comes from a single vendor, the page says so.
- Pages show the date they were last checked, and prices are re-checked against the vendor's own pages.
- Risky tactics are explained so readers can judge them. Explaining a method is not a recommendation to use it.
How the site is funded
Through affiliate commissions from some vendors and paid workshops. Vendors cannot pay for a review, a score or a position. See the affiliate disclosure and how we review.
Corrections
If something on the site is wrong or out of date, email hello@offpageatlas.com. We check the claim against a public source and update the page with a new date.
