BuzzStream review

This is a desk review. It is based on BuzzStream’s public pages and third-party ratings, checked on 3 October 2026. We have not tested the product for this review, so there is no test score. The rating out of 10 is the editor’s own judgement.

How it works

BuzzStream is a CRM for outreach. It describes itself as a platform for building qualified prospect lists, sending personalised emails at scale, tracking conversations and measuring results such as open and reply rates. It is built for the manual, relationship-led side of off-page work: genuine guest posting, resource links and digital PR.

Every plan includes contact info discovery, open, click and reply tracking, email templates, publisher and influencer metrics, a Chrome extension and link monitoring. The value of a CRM over a plain inbox is the record: who was contacted, by whom, and what they said. That matters once more than one person is pitching the same publishers.

BuzzStream is also a source of market data. Several benchmarks quoted across Offpage Atlas, such as the 56 percent average vendor markup on guest posts, come from its 2026 research.

Prospecting and ListIQ

Each plan carries a monthly allowance of prospecting searches: 30 on Starter, 250 on Growth and 1,000 on Professional. On Growth and above, an Ahrefs integration adds authority metrics to your prospects. That is a first filter only. Our guide on how to vet a publisher covers the rest.

ListIQ is a newer product for digital PR. BuzzStream describes it as an AI-driven media list builder, delivered as a Chrome extension. It generates lists from news search results, shows which journalists are relevant and active, and finds email addresses. ListIQ pricing was not shown on the plans page we checked.

Outreach features by plan

The Starter plan sends individual emails from templates. The features that save time at volume begin with Growth: bulk email send, scheduling and reminders, automated follow-ups, email performance reports, shared team templates and link reporting. Professional adds backup recipients, team performance reporting, an API and a dedicated account manager.

Link monitoring

Link monitoring covers 1,000 links on Starter, 25,000 on Growth and 100,000 on Professional. For a small team, that can replace a separate monitoring tool for the links your outreach earns. See how to track backlinks for what to watch.

Prices are as shown on BuzzStream’s plans page on 3 October 2026. There is no contract, and billing is monthly. A free trial is offered, and the page says you can cancel during the trial without charge. It does not state the trial length.

Compared with Pitchbox, which starts at $210 a month on a one-year commitment, BuzzStream costs much less to try.

What public reviews say

BuzzStream has no Trustpilot profile. GetApp shows 4.5 out of 5 from 22 reviews, checked in October 2026. That is a small sample. BuzzStream’s own site carries testimonials from the founders of Siege Media, Rise at Seven and Verve Search, which are vendor-selected.
