What it does

Awario tracks conversations about a brand across social media, news, blogs, videos, forums and reviews. You set up topics, each made of keywords, and the tool collects every public mention it finds. The home page lists X, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, Vimeo, blogs, forums, news and the web as sources, and states that Awario crawls more than 13 billion web pages a day in addition to using platform APIs. That figure is the vendor’s own.

The features named on the site are Boolean search, sentiment analysis, location-based monitoring, a topic cloud, reports, a Slack integration and an API.

Boolean search is the feature that matters most for link builders. It lets you write a query that includes your brand name and excludes your own domain or unrelated meanings of the word, which cuts the noise in a mention feed. A clean feed of web mentions is the starting point for unlinked mention outreach: find the pages that name you, check whether they link, and ask the ones that do not. Our lesson on brand mention monitoring walks through the process.

The pages we read today do not describe a filter that separates linked from unlinked mentions, so plan to check links yourself or with a backlink tool. See how to check backlinks.

Pricing

Plan Monthly billing Annual billing, per month Topics Mentions a month Team members
Starter EUR 49 EUR 29 3 30,000 1
Pro EUR 149 EUR 89 15 300,000 10
Enterprise EUR 399 EUR 249 100 1,000,000 Unlimited

Prices are as shown in euros on Awario’s pricing page on 4 October 2026. Every plan allows unlimited keywords per topic. The page lists Boolean search, data export, PDF reports, white-label reports and the API against all three plans. Confirm that during the trial, because tools in this category usually hold some of those back for higher plans.

The free trial gives access to the Starter plan, with up to 3 alerts and 30,000 mentions. The page does not say how many days it lasts. It does say the account expires without a charge if you do not buy.

Awario costs far less than Brand24, whose lowest plan is $249 a month for three keywords and 2,000 mentions. The two are not the same product: Brand24 lists more sources, including podcasts and review sites.

We could not open a terms page, so we cannot state the refund rules. Given the Trustpilot comments below, read them before paying for a year.

What public reviews say

Awario holds a Trustpilot score of 4.2 from 18 reviews, checked in October 2026. Of those, 72 percent are five-star and 28 percent one-star. Positive reviews mention value for money, the interface and support. Negative ones mention an unexpected annual charge, strict refund rules and limits on Facebook and Instagram monitoring that come from the platforms’ own restrictions. The company replies to negative reviews.

Eighteen reviews is a small sample. The home page quotes customer testimonials but no customer numbers.
