Ranktracker review

This review is based on Ranktracker’s public pages and third-party ratings, checked on 4 October 2026. The rating out of 10 is the editor’s own judgement. The focus is on link building and off-page features, not the full suite.

Backlink tools

Ranktracker is a suite built around rank tracking. Two of its tools matter for off-page work.

The Backlink Checker shows who links to any domain. Its page lists a rating for each linking domain and URL, dofollow or nofollow status, anchor text, first seen and last seen dates, and a new or lost label. You can save links as favourites, which helps when building a prospect list from a competitor’s profile. See link prospecting. The page states a database of “2.7 trillion links” and says a competitor’s new links are found within a day. Both are vendor claims.

The Backlink Monitor tracks your own profile. Its page describes email alerts when links are added or removed, the dofollow and nofollow split, anchor text diversity, a spam score for each URL and domain, status codes for broken links, and historical data since 2019.

That covers the two failures that matter most with paid placements, a removed link and a switch to nofollow. The page does not describe a check for whether the linking page is indexed. Compare it with the list in our guide on how to track backlinks.

Ranktracker does not name a third-party data provider. The monitor page says such tools pull from the indexes of search engines and calls its own index one of the most comprehensive, without a figure. Treat the 2.7 trillion number as a guide to scale only. Our lesson on why backlink tools disagree explains why counts differ.

Pricing

Plan	Monthly billing	Annual billing, per month	Keywords tracked daily	Data rows a month
Launch	$39	$31.20	500	40,000
Growth	$89	$71.20	1,000	150,000
Scale	$149	$119.20	2,000	350,000
Authority	$299	$239.20	5,000	800,000

Prices are as shown on Ranktracker’s pricing page on 4 October 2026. The page says other currencies can be chosen at checkout.

The plan cards list monthly data rows, and do not itemise how many backlink lookups or monitored links each plan allows. Confirm those limits during the 7-day free trial.

The page states that no refunds are given during the current promotion. You can cancel at any time from the account settings. With no refund, the trial is the only safe way to test it.

What public reviews say

Trustpilot does not show a score for Ranktracker. The profile states that the rating is unavailable due to a breach of Trustpilot’s guidelines, and that Trustpilot removed a number of fake reviews for the company. Of the 256 reviews shown in October 2026, 34 percent are five-star and 61 percent are one-star.

We report this as Trustpilot states it. It is a finding about the company’s reviews, not about the quality of its data, and it weighs on our rating because independent ratings are one of the five things the editor considers. See our methodology.
