How it works
EIN Presswire is a press release distribution service operated by Newsmatics Inc. You buy a pack of release credits, submit a release, and its editors review it before it goes out. Each release is targeted by country and industry.
The pricing page names the channels: AP News, Nexstar Media Group, the USA TODAY Network, news sites and newswires, targeted journalists, Bloomberg Terminals, Muck Rack, Google News and Bing. The home page also mentions more than 100 NBC, FOX, ABC and CBS affiliate sites. On the Pro+ plan, USA TODAY Network distribution is described as based on relevance, so it is not promised for every release.
A wire release is one part of digital PR. It distributes an announcement. It does not pitch a story to a journalist for you.
Pricing
The pricing page showed three plans on 4 October 2026, in US dollars. All credits are valid for 365 days from purchase.
| Plan | Price | Releases | Words | Images | Targets |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $149 | 1 | 700 | 1 | 1 country, 1 industry |
| Pro+ | $499 | 5 plus 1 free | 1,000 | 3 | 2 countries, 5 industries |
| Corporate | $999 | 15 | 2,500 | 5 | 2 countries, 5 industries |
Every plan allows one video and three keyword links per release, and includes a distribution report. The page gives the cost per release as $83.17 on Pro+ with the free release, and $66.60 on Corporate. The Corporate plan adds more than 3,900 affinity group publications, based on relevance.
The packs only save money if you use them. Unused credits lapse after a year, and expired credits are one of the complaints on Trustpilot. We found no refund terms on the pages we read.
Link value
Three keyword links per release is a limit, not a reason to buy. Whichever wire you use, the copies of a release that appear on partner sites are syndicated duplicates. Our lesson on press releases for links explains why the working rule is to count those copies as zero links, and our page on syndicated links covers how search engines treat them. Keyword-rich anchors in releases at volume are treated as a link scheme, so use your brand name or a plain URL.
What public reviews say
EIN Presswire had a Trustpilot score of 3.6 from 177 reviews when we checked in October 2026. Fifty-one percent were five-star and 44 percent were one-star. Satisfied customers mention price, ease of use and helpful support. Unhappy customers mention releases rejected without enough explanation, expired credits and doubts about real reach. Trustpilot shows that the company replies to 90 percent of its negative reviews.
