What is good

  • Six published prices, paid per release with no subscription
  • Low entry price of $29 for a release posted on its own site
  • Top package adds PR Newswire national distribution at $479
  • In business since 2004 by its own account

What is not

  • The pricing page does not say how many links or images each package allows
  • The $29 package has no distribution beyond the vendor's own site
  • One Trustpilot review, so no usable independent rating
  • No refund terms on the pages we read

How it works

24-7 Press Release Newswire is a press release distribution service that says it was founded in 2004. Its site gives an office address in Seattle, Washington. You write a release, or pay the company to write it, choose a package and pay per release. There is no subscription.

The package decides where the release goes. The cheapest posts it on the vendor’s own site only. The middle packages add online and regional distribution, and the home page names Google, Bing, Yahoo Finance, Benzinga, Digital Journal and MarketWatch among the places a release can appear. The top package adds national distribution through PR Newswire.

A press release is one tool within digital PR. It puts an announcement on record. It does not replace pitching a story to journalists.

Pricing

The pricing page showed six packages on 4 October 2026, in US dollars per release:

Package Price Distribution as described
Simple Post $29 Vendor’s own website only
Visibility Boost $49 Regional online distribution
PR Network Plus $89 Digital distribution with wider regional reach
Integrated Media Pro $139 Digital and traditional media distribution
Integrated Media Pro+ $199 US and Canadian media networks
Mass Media Visibility $479 PR Newswire national and extended digital distribution

The page we read does not state how many links, images or words each package allows. Check the detail page of a package before you pay. We found no refund terms: the address we tried for a refund policy returned an error page.

Buy a release for the announcement, not for backlinks. Whichever wire you use, the copies of a release that appear on partner sites are syndicated duplicates. Our lesson on press releases for links explains why the working rule is to count those copies as zero links, and our page on syndicated links covers how search engines treat them.

The $29 package is a single page on the vendor’s own site. If PR Newswire reach is what you want, compare the $479 package with eReleases, which sells PR Newswire national distribution from $399 at regular prices, and check the word limits and extras of each.

What public reviews say

The Trustpilot profile for 24-7 Press Release Newswire showed a score of 3.7 from a single review in October 2026, which is no basis for a judgement. The vendor says it has held an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau since 2008. We did not check that on the bureau’s own site.

Bottom line

24-7 Press Release Newswire sells press release distribution per release, with six published packages from $29 to $479 and no subscription. The cheap packages reach little beyond its own site and online networks, and only the $479 package includes PR Newswire national distribution. Independent reviews are almost absent.
