SEO PowerSuite review

This review is based on SEO PowerSuite’s public pages and third-party ratings, checked on 4 October 2026. The rating out of 10 is the editor’s own judgement. The focus is on SEO SpyGlass, the backlink tool, not the full suite.

Backlink data

SEO PowerSuite is a set of four desktop programs: Rank Tracker, WebSite Auditor, SEO SpyGlass and LinkAssistant. SEO SpyGlass is the backlink checker. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux and pulls link data from the vendor’s own index, which the pricing page gives as 6.5 trillion backlinks. That is the vendor’s figure.

For each link the tool shows the nofollow or dofollow attribute, link type, anchor text and HTTP status code. Its own authority metrics are InLink Rank for a page and Domain InLink Rank for a domain. These are not the DR or DA figures most sellers quote, so keep a second source for checking a seller’s claims.

You can connect Google Search Console and Google Analytics, or import a CSV, to add links the index has missed. The tool also keeps historical data, so you can see how a profile changed over time. Our guide on how to check backlinks explains why combining sources gives a fuller picture.

Audits and competitor research

Penalty Risk is the feature that sets SEO SpyGlass apart on its own page. It scores each link for signs of toxicity, which gives you a shortlist to review by hand. For prospecting, the tool compares your profile with competitors and lists sites that link to them and not to you. The Professional licence compares 6 sites and Enterprise 11. A bulk mode analyses up to 200 domains at once. See link gap analysis for how to use the output.

Desktop licences

The desktop format is the main trade-off. Paid licences list unlimited projects and unlimited backlinks, with no credits. In return, the work happens on your own computer. Some Trustpilot reviewers call the software slow and heavy on resources.

Prices are as shown in euros on SEO PowerSuite’s pricing page on 4 October 2026, for one-year licences. Two-year and three-year terms for the suite cost less per year: Professional is EUR 558 for two years and EUR 717 for three.

Enterprise adds report export, white-label reports and scheduled delivery. If you send backlink reports to clients, price that licence.

The page says you can cancel at any time, and that it cannot issue refunds for partial use or for the time left on a subscription. It states no money-back guarantee. Licences renew, so note the date.

What public reviews say

SEO PowerSuite holds a Trustpilot score of 3.0 from 416 reviews, checked in October 2026, under its link-assistant.com profile. The most common complaint is an automatic renewal charge that the reviewer did not expect, followed by a refused refund. Long-term users praise the range of features.
