This review is based on lemlist’s public pages and third-party ratings, checked on 4 October 2026. The rating out of 10 is the editor’s own judgement. The focus is on link building outreach, not general sales use.
How it works
Lemlist calls itself the only platform you need to make outbound work. It is a sales engagement tool: you build a sequence of steps, add contacts, and lemlist sends each step from your own accounts and gathers replies in one inbox. Steps can be emails, LinkedIn actions, calls, WhatsApp messages or SMS.
Three parts matter for outreach to site owners and editors. The first is lemwarm, a warm-up and deliverability tool that lemlist says is included with every seat. The second is an email and phone finder backed by a database that lemlist puts at more than 650 million contacts. The third is personalisation of each message, including AI-written copy. The company states that more than 20,000 sales teams use it. These are its own figures.
Use for link outreach
Lemlist’s pages are written for sales teams, not link builders. We found no features for publisher metrics, link monitoring or logging which sites have linked. You bring a vetted list from link prospecting, find the right person as described in finding contacts and verifying emails, and use lemlist for the pitch and follow-ups.
The LinkedIn steps are the main difference from an email-only sender. A site owner who ignores email may answer a short message there, which helps with guest posting and partnership pitches. Those steps are only in the Multichannel plan. Whatever the channel, the advice in our lesson on link outreach emails still applies: short, specific and relevant to the site.
For a team that needs a record of every publisher relationship, an outreach CRM such as BuzzStream is the closer fit.
Pricing
| Plan | Price shown, per month | Struck-through price | Sending |
|---|---|---|---|
| $55 | $69 | 50,000 emails a month | |
| Multichannel | $87 | $109 | Unlimited emails and messages, 5 senders per user |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Unlimited emails and messages |
Prices are as shown on lemlist’s pricing page on 4 October 2026. The page shows each price beside a higher struck-through figure and a 20 percent saving for yearly billing. We read the lower figure as the yearly rate and the higher as the monthly rate, but confirm this at checkout. The Email plan is described as covering unlimited users and email senders.
Two add-ons are listed at yearly rates: lead data enrichment at $16 a month for 2,000 credits, and buying intent signals at $21 a month.
What public reviews say
Lemlist holds a Trustpilot score of 4.7 from 245 reviews, checked in October 2026, with 190 of those reviews written in the last 12 months. Eighty-one percent give five stars and 12 percent give one. Reviewers praise ease of use and support. Critical reviews mention unclear pricing and features being removed from plans. Trustpilot shows lemlist replying to about 25 percent of negative reviews.
