How it works
FindThatLead describes itself as a B2B sales prospecting tool that gives access to phone numbers and email addresses. Its site lists seven tools: an email finder, a verifier, a Prospector for building lists automatically, a social media contact finder, a local business finder, an email sender for cold campaigns and a simple CRM. The site says it is GDPR compliant. It does not publish a database size.
The model is credit-based. Looking up an address uses email credits, and the plan sets how many you get each month and how many emails you may send each day.
Use for link outreach
Nothing in FindThatLead is built for link building. For a link builder it does two jobs: it finds and verifies a contact at a site you have already chosen, and it sends a short drip sequence to that contact. Our lessons on finding contacts and verifying emails and link outreach emails cover both steps.
The daily sender limit of 400 on Starter is ample for careful outreach, where a few dozen well-chosen pitches a day is normal. The single email account on Starter is the tighter limit if you pitch for more than one site or client.
You still need to choose and check the sites yourself. See link prospecting and how to vet a publisher. One Trustpilot reviewer also warns that the tool’s use with LinkedIn breaks that network’s terms, which is worth weighing before you use the social finder.

What public reviews say
FindThatLead holds a Trustpilot score of 2.6 from 14 reviews, checked in October 2026. The sample is very small and sharply split: 43 percent give five stars and 57 percent give one. The critical reviews describe credits being cut for customers who had bought lifetime deals, cancellation that was hard to complete, charges after a downgrade and slow support. Positive reviews praise ease of use. Compare that with Hunter.io, which sells a similar finder and verifier and holds 4.2 from 346 reviews on the same platform.
