Rankshift review

This review is based on Rankshift’s public pages and third-party ratings, checked on 4 October 2026. The rating out of 10 is the editor’s own judgement.

What it tracks

Rankshift monitors how often, and how favourably, a brand appears in answers from AI search engines. Its home page lists nine: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Copilot, Mistral and Meta AI.

The reports follow the pattern set out in our lesson on AI visibility tracking tools: an AI visibility score, share of voice against competitors, sentiment of mentions and citation analytics. The citation report shows which sources the engines trust for your prompts. For off-page work that is the practical output, because those sources are where a mention or a link can change what the engine says. Rankshift also includes agent analytics, which records AI crawler activity on your own site, and an Action Center that ranks recommendations by priority.

Content tools

Every plan includes a content brief generator and an AI content writer. These sit on the on-page side: the tool spots a topic where you are missing from AI answers and drafts content for it. They do not replace the off-page work of earning mentions on the pages the engines already cite.

The allowances are as shown on Rankshift’s pricing page on 4 October 2026. We could not read the prices. The page loads them by script, and the version we fetched showed only a “/mo” placeholder for each plan. The page offers pricing in euros, US dollars or pounds, with monthly or annual billing and 10 percent off for annual.

All plans include daily or weekly refresh, tracking of all supported engines, the content tools, crawler analytics, a Looker Studio integration, and MCP and API access. Unlimited seats and projects on every plan is unusual in this category, where several rivals charge per seat or per project.

The site states a 30-day free trial with no credit card. That is long enough to compare its numbers with another tracker on the same prompts, which is the fairest test. How to measure AI visibility explains how to set one up. The pages we read do not state refund terms.

What public reviews say

We did not find an independent rating we could open for Rankshift in October 2026. The site says it is “trusted by 850+ marketing teams”, which is a vendor claim. The pages we read did not show the legal entity or the country the company is registered in.
