How it works
Local Viking is software for managing Google Business Profiles at scale. Its home page lists:
- GeoGrid visibility tracking, built on the Google Places API, with historical archives and live searches.
- Maps and local rank tracking for mobile and desktop.
- Post scheduling for offer, standard and event posts, across several locations at once.
- Photo and video scheduling.
- Review management.
- “Attribute Sentry” protection and suspension notifications for profiles.
- Scheduled white label reports.
The footer gives an address in Hanover, Pennsylvania, and says “since 2018”.
Where it fits in off-page work

We could not read current prices. The pricing address on Local Viking’s site redirects to the Local Optics app, and that page showed only the name “Local Optics” to our reader on 4 October 2026. The home page also points to Local Optics for pricing. We do not know whether the product is being moved to that brand, and the pages we read do not explain it.
The only package detail on Local Viking’s own site is an older help answer, dated 7 October 2020:
