Link Whisper review

This review is based on Link Whisper’s public pages and third-party ratings, checked on 4 October 2026. The rating out of 10 is the editor’s own judgement.

What it does

Link Whisper is a plugin for internal linking. It reads the content of a WordPress site and suggests links between your own pages, with anchor text, inside the editor. The vendor describes it as covering AI link suggestions, an orphaned page finder, broken link detection, auto-linking rules, click tracking, a links report and a site health score. It says the plugin works in the block editor, the classic editor and Elementor, and that a Shopify app links product pages, collections, pages and blog posts in the same way.

Link Whisper’s site says it is trusted by more than 50,000 sites. That is the vendor’s own figure.

A Search Console integration shows which keywords each page ranks for next to the suggestions. That helps you pick anchors from real queries.

Where it fits in off-page work

Link Whisper holds no backlink index and does not monitor links on other sites. It sits in this category because internal links decide where the value of your backlinks goes. Two reports matter most for that job. The orphaned page report finds pages with no internal links pointing at them. The broken link report finds links that lead nowhere, which wastes whatever those pages have earned.

AI credits

AI suggestions run on a credit system. The vendor says every plan includes a starting allocation and that core scanning and link management work without credits. Extra packs are sold from $20 for 1,000 credits. We could not read the allocation for each plan on 4 October 2026, because the pricing table is drawn by a script. Check it before you buy, since one Trustpilot reviewer complains that credits run out quickly.

Prices are as stated on Link Whisper’s own site on 4 October 2026. The site also advertises the plugin “from $10 a month”. We could not read the full monthly billing terms, so the table shows the yearly prices only.

The 14-day money-back guarantee applies to initial licence purchases. The vendor states that it does not cover processed renewals, reactivations, AI credit purchases or credit-based subscriptions. Licences renew, so put the renewal date in your calendar.

Link Whisper also sells a done-for-you internal linking service, described as a standalone service starting at $499.

What public reviews say

Link Whisper holds a Trustpilot score of 2.2 from 9 reviews, checked in October 2026. Nine reviews is a very small sample. The complaints are mostly about renewal charges and refused refunds, which fits the limits of the guarantee above. The Trustpilot profile is unclaimed.
