How it works
SeedingUp is a marketplace that connects advertisers with bloggers, online media and social media creators. You register for free, browse the offers by topic and book a blog post, which the blogger writes and publishes. Influencer campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube are set up one by one by the company’s campaign team.
The homepage reports 28,226 active bloggers and 134,819 users. The about page gives the founding year as 2005, the head office as Stuttgart and a staff of 25, with further locations in New York, London, Madrid and Paris. The site runs in English, German, Spanish, French and Italian. Our earlier research linked the teliad brand to SeedingUp. The pages we read today do not mention it.
Pricing
SeedingUp does not publish prices, fees or commission rates. You see them after registering. That makes it impossible to compare costs with other marketplaces from the outside.
Links and labelling
The advertiser page lists “NoFollow” among its advantages, described as compliance with search engine guidelines. In other words, SeedingUp sells labelled blog coverage. That keeps you within Google’s rules, and it also means you should not buy here expecting followed links. Our lesson on link attributes explains what a nofollow link does and does not pass, and brand mentions and citations covers the value of coverage without a followed link.
The page also promises manually checked blogs, unique content written by the blogger and order handling inside the customer account.
The guarantee
The advertiser page says articles are guaranteed online for at least 12 months. It gives no detail on what happens if a post is removed earlier, and we found no refund terms on the public pages.
Public ratings
This is where the record turns. The Trustpilot profile for seedingup.de shows a score of 1.4 from 119 reviews, checked in October 2026. Seventy percent give one star and 22 percent give five.
Most of the negative reviews come from publishers. They report payments shown as processed that never arrived, waits of many months and generic replies from support. Several say publishers removed posts because they were not paid, which leaves the advertiser without the placement it bought. Some reviewers question whether the company is still trading. The company has not replied to most of them. The homepage footer shows a copyright range that ends in 2023.
These are claims by reviewers, not our own findings. They are consistent enough to take seriously.
What to check before ordering
- Start small. Place one order and confirm it goes live before funding a larger balance.
- Ask the publisher. If you can identify the blog, ask whether it is being paid on time. Our lesson on link seller scams lists other warning signs.
- Monitor the post. Check monthly that it is still online during the 12-month term. See how to track backlinks.
- Compare. For German-language placements, read our lesson on link building in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and the page on link marketplaces.
