This review is based on PRNEWS.IO’s public pages and third-party ratings, checked on 4 October 2026. The rating out of 10 is the editor’s own judgement.

One caveat first. The PRNEWS.IO website, its help centre and its affiliate pages all refused our page reader on 4 October 2026. The vendor figures below come from search engine listings of those same pages, read the same day. Treat them as the vendor’s claims and confirm them in your account before you spend.

How it works

PRNEWS.IO is a catalogue of media outlets that sell paid placements. You filter by niche, country, authority or traffic, see the price for each outlet, and buy a placement. The products named in its listings are sponsored articles, press releases, branded content, mentions and native advertising.

The listings describe 105,000 or more outlets across 175 countries, in 77 languages and 37 categories. This is a media buying tool as much as a link source. If you are buying for links, read our page on press releases for links first, because many news outlets mark paid content as sponsored or use nofollow.

Pricing

There is no subscription, no minimum spend and no setup fee. Placements start at $5.69, and each outlet carries its own fixed price.

On top of the outlet price, the refund policy listing mentions a service fee of 15 to 18 percent and a 3 percent currency conversion charge where it applies. Both are described as non-refundable, as is the commission charged when you deposit funds. Budget for those when you compare prices with other large marketplaces.

The guarantee

The help centre describes a one-year guarantee. PRNEWS.IO commits to keep the content available and unchanged in its basic terms for one year. If an article is removed or changed, it undertakes to restore it within 10 working days or refund 100 percent of the placement cost to your account balance.

The same pages state that articles deleted more than 90 days after publication are not refundable where the one-year guarantee offer was not used. We could not open the help article to see whether that offer is included or paid, so check this before ordering. For comparison, WhitePress guarantees 36 months and Collaborator gives three months of free protection.

Public ratings

PRNEWS.IO holds a Trustpilot score of 4.7 from 207 reviews, checked in October 2026. Ninety-five percent of reviews give five stars and 4 percent give one star. Positive reviews mention clear prices, an easy listing process and fast payment after approval. Many of them are written by publishers, not buyers. The negative reviews describe slow support and publishers who did not respond.

What to check before ordering

1. The link. Open a recent sponsored piece on the outlet and check whether links are followed, nofollow or marked sponsored. Our lesson on link attributes explains the difference.
2. The total price. Add the service fee and any conversion charge to the listed price.
3. Real traffic. A low price often means a site with no readers. Use the checks in how to vet a publisher.
4. The guarantee terms. Confirm in your account what the one-year guarantee covers for the outlet you choose.
