CrowdReply review
CrowdReply combines AI visibility and Reddit monitoring with a paid posting service, where comments and posts are published through community profiles on your behalf. Prices are public, from $79 a month and $10 a comment. It does not say whose accounts post, and paid community posts are removed by platforms when detected.
Best for
Marketing teams that want to monitor Reddit and AI answers, and that knowingly accept the risk of paying for placed comments.
Not for
Brands that cannot risk being exposed for paid community posts, or buyers who want ranking links.

This review is based on public information about CrowdReply and third-party ratings, checked on 4 October 2026. The rating out of 10 is the editor’s own judgement.
How it works
CrowdReply has two halves. The first is monitoring. It tracks which sources ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude cite for your topics, and it listens for relevant conversations on Reddit, Quora, Wikipedia and blogs.
The second half is posting. You pick a thread, write or approve a comment, and CrowdReply publishes it. In the site’s words, it is “posted through trusted community profiles on your behalf”. Plans also price a comment with a link and a full post. The site separately offers editorial backlinks from what it says are more than 40,000 publishers.
The pages we read do not say who owns the profiles, how old they are, or whether the commercial relationship is disclosed in the post. The operator’s company name and location are also not given. Ask before you buy. Those answers decide how long a comment survives.
Pricing
The pricing page showed three plans on 4 October 2026, in US dollars on monthly billing:
| Plan | Price a month | Comment | Comment with link | Post |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $79 | $10 | $15 | $25 |
| Growth | $239 | $8 | $12 | $20 |
| Enterprise | from $399 | $7 | $10 | $15 |
Yearly billing takes 20 percent off. Every plan has a 7-day free trial, and you can top up credits in the dashboard. The page also lists a credits figure for each plan, which we could not interpret with confidence and leave out.
The refund term is clear: a full refund within 30 days of a subscription purchase, and none after that. The page states no replacement or refund for a comment that a moderator removes.
Risk
We rate the posting service R4, high. The monitoring half carries no risk at all.
Paid comments on Reddit and forums are a form of crowd marketing, which our automated links page covers. Google’s link spam policy names forum comments with optimised links. Reddit removes inauthentic posts and votes at scale, as our lesson on Reddit for SEO and AI visibility describes. And our page on GEO spam and AI manipulation explains why seeded recommendations aimed at AI answers now fall under spam policy too.
The links themselves are mostly nofollow, so the goal is mentions and AI citations, not link equity. Our lesson on brand mentions and citations sets out what a mention is worth. The lower-risk use of the product is to find threads with the monitoring tools and answer them from your own named account.
What public reviews say
CrowdReply’s site displays a G2 rating of 4.9 and says more than 5,000 brands use it. G2 blocked our reader on 4 October 2026, so we could not confirm the score or the number of reviews behind it. Treat it as a vendor-displayed figure.

How much does CrowdReply cost?
On 4 October 2026 its pricing page listed Starter at $79 a month, Growth at $239 and Enterprise from $399, with 20 percent off for yearly billing. A comment costs $10, $8 or $7 depending on the plan.
Does CrowdReply post on Reddit for you?
Yes. Its site says comments and posts are published through trusted community profiles on your behalf. It does not say who owns those accounts.
Is paying for Reddit comments risky?
Yes. Reddit removes paid and inauthentic posts when it detects them, and a brand exposed for seeding recommendations can lose trust in that community. Most community links are also nofollow.
